A traditional Victorian dessert apple.  Arising in Norfolk, this apple was brought to attention by Mr Adams in 1826 and has remained a valued disease-resistant apple tree ever since. The London fruiterers always paid a good price as it was the most attractive apple to display in a window, with its unusual conical shape and striking markings with a reddish orange flush over a golden yellow backdrop. Not only beautiful and tasty but when the fruit is picked early-to-mid October it can store well until March.

Pollination group C (Early-Mid)

Tree comes as a maiden whip (1 year tree with no branches). The trees are bareroot, so the tree will arrive with bare roots (without soil) wrapped up ready for planting out or heeling in. Available only in dormant season (November-April).
